Hello, My name is Neel Shah. I am a 3rd year student at CSPIT,CHARUSAT UNIVERSITY pursuing Btech(I.T.). the world is going through a big disaster and many people and industries are facing problems and losses to even survive in these situations. as an IT student and an engineer, one should always do something productive or learn something new no matter what the situation is it. our college came up with a task of small and useful internship programme for a duration of one month during the lockdown in our country. students did the internships from their respective home and gained much of the industrial level knowledge. i did the internship with a company named NavpadInfotech Pvt. Ltd. based in vadodara Gujarat,india. while i live in ahmedabad,gujarat,India which is almost a hundred kilometers away from Vadodara.
This internship started with a nice introduction to the industry level tools and technologies in the IT field. we learned how to use Microsoft Visual studio, we learned about the different types of licenses that are required to make products(eg:- mit licenses), we also learned about some database concepts and how it is used in industries, we also learned about how to prevent attacks on websites by hackers, the most important part is that our project manager also taught us about the values and discipline and skills that we should develop to be sustained in the industry.
About the project:-
we did a project based on website development and online dashboard designing. the project was mainly divided into 3 parts namely, 1)frontend(GUI), 2)Backend (server side), 3) connectivity(database and authorizations). we had a team of 6 people working on this project. as we were rookies to the industry and it was a short internship of one month we learnt about the technology with the help of reference models and also from the project manager. our project manager was a very kind and supportive being always helpful to us and encourage us to learn something new.
so the purpose of a dashboard technology is to provide a portal or provide an access to the owner or some authorized people of the organization or a company(it may be production company,etc) to monitor the activity and sales and staff activity and inventory of the company by just click of some buttons.
i mostly focused on working with the user interface of the project. my teammates were working on database management, connectivity and testing of the system.

The photos shows flow of the application, the dashboard design with features like statistics of sales, inventory, charts for the market, tables for prices, billing informations,login page, types of product masters.
we designed a dashboard for a boutique from vadodara, gujarat, India named palkin enterprise.
CONCLUSION:- This internship has been an excellent and rewarding experience for us. i’ve learnt alot from my work and working with NavpadInfotech. i have learnt amazing new skills. i have also learnt many values and ethics like commitment, teamwork, dedication, flexibility, organisational fit, technical discipline and development standards. the work i’ve done could not be said to be extravagant but it has been a new learning outcome for me and can be improvised through the time.
